SfC's directors and managers have substantial experience in local authority and university settings of teaching, training and providing briefing sessions about subjects of topical interest.
DfE Putting Care Into Practice - Care Planning, Placement & Review
Having successfully designed and delivered for the Department for Education (DfE) 10 regional awareness raising events, SfC can provide cost efficient multi agency briefings for you.
If you provide a suitable local venue, we can provide bespoke briefing or training sessions for:
•Elected Members, Directors of Children’s Services & Strategic Managers in Partner Agencies including Health & Education
•Case Planners (‘Nominated Officers’, Service / Team Managers, Independent Reviewing Officers)
•Practitioners (for edge of care, permanency & care leavers) – Social Workers, Designated Teachers, Leaving Care Workers, Personal Advisers, YOT officers and Health Professionals

We have a rolling programme that offers authoritative input and facilitated discussion (in half or whole-day sessions) about a range of topical subjects, eg:
