Croham Services for Children - quality fostering and residential care

Mission statement

The overall aim of our contact service is to facilitate good quality contact that is in the best interests of the child.

SfC will not provide services which fail to meet this aim. We work hard to support parents and carers to have the best contact they can. However, our focus will always be contact arrangements that are in the best interest of the child.

SfC is committed to:

  • safeguarding the welfare of every child receiving a service from the agency
  • recognising the value and worth of every individual
  • ensuring that services provided are in the best interests of the child
  • respecting the on-going nature of parental responsibility and accepting it sometimes has to be limited by a court order or in the best interests of a child
  • anti-discriminatory values and practice that give due regard to race, culture, language, disability, gender and sexual orientation
  • respecting the individual's right to confidentiality unless to protect a child or to prevent a crime we need to share relevant information within the agency, with courts and referring agencies.
