Croham Services for Children - quality fostering and residential care

Carers and children

About us

Our services

We offer:

  • family placements for children from birth to seventeen (emergency, task-focused and long term)
  • a contact centre providing supported and supervised contact services for children and parents
  • a range of additional services to satisfy the needs of children, their families and professionals who work with them.

Our aims

We are confident that we will achieve our aim of becoming 'the best' because:

  • we ask local authorities what they most need, analyse those needs and develop services to satisfy them
  • our range of publications about legislation and government guidance means that we know what law and best practice require (as well as CAE publications, we have previously been commissioned by BAAF to write some of their guides on fostering and adoption in England and Scotland)
  • we have substantial collective experience in the public, voluntary and private sectors, designing, developing and providing effective child care/protection services.

Our commitment

We are committed to ensuring:

  • children's needs are awarded paramountcy at all times (even if that means it costs us)
  • services we provide are dependable and that arrangements and costs are made crystal clear to all parties (our service users don't need to be let down more than many already have been)
  • an imaginative and flexible approach in provision of packages of care for current service users and in our development of new ones (a combination of our foster care and contact services has proved a great help to many families and social workers over the last year).
